Are you a 2018 bride and wondering what wedding theme and colour to choose? If so, keep reading and feel free to share your favourite styles with your friends.

We can’t help but love a spring wedding here at Valle di Badia; the warm colours and fresh scents are unparalled, but we can appreciate the beauty of a rustic, darker themed wedding.  No matter what your taste, we hope we have something in this post that suits you! These 2018 wedding themes have a little something for every upcoming wedding…

We can’t get enough of this purple and pink wedding: what dreams are made of! Right, girls? A real life fantasty.

Combining the two colours is visually appealing, as the magical purple offers a dark, royal quality, whilst the pink offers a lighter and fresher look.

Lush (and cost-effective) greenery is taking centre stage: Magnolia leaf, ivy, rosemary, mint and dusty miller are all being used in new and unexpected ways. Valle di Badia makes it easy to incorporate these into your special day due to being situated in the uncontaminated hills of Tuscany: what could be better?  The combination of fresh flowers and luscious green grounds is a great compromise for bold colours such as pink because it isn’t overly feminine. With many different types of greenery to choose from, the possibilities are endless!

We simply love the boldness and elegance of this dark and moody wedding, that can be used beautifully in any season! Warm fall colours such as auburn and a refresing golden glow were paired with mute greys and dark mahogany to beautifully portrary the beginning of winter. To emulate the warmth one can bring into a wedding at the coldest of times, romantic candlelight was selected to highlight the table setting, with the candle holders in geometric shapes to reflect modern trends.

This colour combination is a true classic, simply because it adds a dressy theme to your decor, making it look more elegant.

Now, choosing the right colours for your wedding day is a huge part of the overall style and theme that you are trying to create. Your choice of colours is essential to define the atmosphere and ambience at your wedding. And you, which colour would you choose?
