Style, care for details and a very special toast: even a last-minute wedding can be perfect
Most of the people are used to think that you need at least a year to organise a wedding…but if you are confident, have clear and well-planned ideas, you can surely organise a stunning wedding in less than 2 months.
Most of the people are used to think that you need at least a year to organise a wedding…but if you are confident, have clear and well-planned ideas, you can surely organise a stunning wedding in less than 2 months. We are not saying it’s easy, of course, but newlywed Giulietta and Alessandro showed us it is possible. In only 50 days they organised a stylish and carefully studied ceremony, who wowed everyone, especially us! In fact, given our previous experience, we couldn’t believe them when, in August 2016 they asked to book Valle di Badia for the beginning of October.
The super-organised couple came here from Massarosa (nearby Lucca, Italy), looking for a rustic place, surrounded by nature, airy but charming. They already thought about planning a true country-chic wedding, and they fell in love at first sight with our location.
Once the location was booked, they immediately started choosing the dress, flowers, decorations, favors and all other requirements for their Big Day, planned for the beginning of October. Although they took into account the possibility of missing some of the things on their checklist due to the short amount of time, Giulietta and Alessandro had very clear ideas: “you find the time, if you don’t waste it” and they didn’t a minute to plan everything in detail.
And on 1st October 2016 Giulietta and Alessandro got married in the church of Bozzano, in Massarosa. They took some beautiful pictures at Massaciuccoli lake and then they all came to Valle di Badia to celebrate with their guests.
Giulietta was stunning in her lace wedding dress. She really cared about the perfect dress, and her race against time didn’t prevent her from finding the dress of her dreams, accompanied by her bridesmaids, all with the same dress.
The decorations were also beautiful and customised: the entire Sala de’Granai was decorated in a country-chic style with jute details. Everyone took part in the realization of the wedding.
The flower decorations were made by Alessandro’s mother and aunt while the jute table decorations and place cards, made with corks and cardboard, were made by one of Giulietta’s friends.
The seating plan, made with wine bottles hung to the colonnade at Valle di Badia, was also breath-taking. Every table had the name of a different kind of wine. The favors were also linked to the wine theme, and included wine bottles with a customised label and a small jute bag with sugared almonds: an original idea loved by everyone.
The day passes by, with music, smiles and laughter, mainly thanks to the entertainer, the talented comedian Tommaso, one of Giulietta’s friends, who entertained the guests with liveliness and friendliness, with his black tuxedo with white stars and showy hair.
Giulietta and Alessandro enjoyed the celebration surrounded by their loved ones, their friends and their parents, who were proud and happy to be next to their son and daughter on such an important day.
It was soon the time of the cutting of the cake. This was when a light shower rain started to fall, and the toast was therefore made under umbrellas, at the edge of the swimming pool, in an enchanted atmosphere. A small inconvenience who didn’t interrupt the party, and which contributed to make incredible the moment when the couple kissed.
When Giulietta and Alessandro left Valle di Badia it was night, and they were ready to leave on their honeymoon to New York, and then on another trip to Thailand and Maldives in January.
Thank you Giulietta and Alessandro, for showing us that last-minute wedding can be perfect too, and that small inconvenience can be part of what makes a wedding great. Congrats guys!
